Introduction

MRWIKD Black is operated by MRWIKD LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes the limited personal information we receive in the course of selling authenticated luxury timepieces and professional optical equipment, and how we use, share, and protect it.

Important: Our website is a catalog and contact surface only. We do not operate an online checkout, we do not maintain user accounts, we do not store payment cards, and we do not run advertising or analytics tracking. All sales are arranged privately by email and settled by domestic wire transfer. As a result, the personal information we hold about any individual is intentionally minimal.

By accessing our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or contact us.

02

Who We Are

MRWIKD Black is a brand operated by MRWIKD LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Texas, United States. References in this policy to "MRWIKD Black," "we," "our," or "us" refer to MRWIKD LLC.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide by Email

All sales are conducted by email. The information we receive is whatever you choose to send us when you inquire about a piece, request a quote, or arrange a transaction. Typically this includes:

  • Your name (or the name you wish to use on the invoice)
  • Your email address
  • A US shipping address (provided after an invoice is issued)
  • A phone number (only if you choose to provide one for delivery coordination)
  • The content of any messages you send us
  • For higher-value pieces, identity-verification information you choose to share to satisfy our anti-fraud checks

Information We Receive From Your Bank

When you settle an invoice by wire transfer, our bank receives the standard remittance information your bank includes with the wire (typically your name, the originating bank, and a reference number). We do not receive, request, or store your bank login, account number, routing details, or card information.

Information Collected Automatically When You Browse

When you visit the website, our hosting provider's standard server logs may record limited technical information for security and reliability purposes, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Pages requested and timestamp

We do not run any analytics, advertising, social-media, or behavioral-tracking scripts on the site. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

04

How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we receive only for the following purposes:

  • To answer your inquiry and provide quotes, condition reports, and additional photographs.
  • To issue invoices and confirm receipt of wire transfers.
  • To arrange shipment via insured, signature-required US carriers.
  • To verify identity on higher-value transactions, where prudent for fraud prevention.
  • To maintain transaction records for accounting, tax, and provenance purposes.
  • To comply with applicable US law, including responses to lawful subpoenas or court orders.

We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or promotional broadcasts. Any email we send you will be a direct, transactional reply tied to your inquiry or order.

05

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Shipping carriers: Your name, US shipping address, and phone number (if provided) are shared with the insured carrier handling your shipment.
  • Our bank and payment infrastructure: Wire-transfer reference data is processed by our bank.
  • Professional advisors: Accountants, attorneys, and authentication consultants under confidentiality obligations, where strictly necessary.
  • Legal obligations: Where required by valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, records may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this policy.
06

Cookies & Local Storage

We use only strictly-necessary technologies. We set no analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies. The site stores a single light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage so the site renders in your chosen mode. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

07

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was provided:

  • Inquiries that do not lead to a sale: Email correspondence is retained for a reasonable period (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up and reference, then deleted on request or as part of routine cleanup.
  • Completed transactions: Invoices, shipping records, and provenance documentation are retained for as long as required by US tax, accounting, and recordkeeping laws — and longer where prudent to support future authentication of the piece.
  • Server logs: Held for a short period by our hosting provider for security and operational diagnostics.
08

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the limited personal information we hold:

  • The website is served over TLS (HTTPS).
  • Email correspondence uses transport encryption between modern providers.
  • We do not store payment-card numbers or banking credentials.
  • Access to records is limited to personnel with a legitimate business need.

No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. We cannot promise absolute security, only that we apply reasonable safeguards proportionate to the limited information we hold.

09

Your Rights (US / California)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including:

  • Right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.
  • Right to delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal recordkeeping exceptions (such as completed-sale records).
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@mrwikdblack.com from the email address on file. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by California law. Residents of other US states with similar privacy laws may submit equivalent requests through the same address.

10

Children's Privacy

The website is not directed to and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly accept inquiries or transactions from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, please contact sales@mrwikdblack.com and we will delete it.

Our site, our policies, and our sales are intended for residents of the United States only. We do not ship internationally and we do not solicit, accept, or onboard buyers located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions whose data-protection laws (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR) impose additional obligations. If you are located outside the United States, please do not send us personal information.

12
